We are pleased to announce that Six Sense Garden on which we have been working over the summer months is going to have an official launch party to which you are invited.
Come visit our garden, taste our produce, watch the film made about our experience and thumb through our wellbeing fanzine.
The project has involved our group constructing a beautiful garden space in the grounds of the Kentish Town Health Centre. It is a garden space for both patients and staff, a place of reflection and learning. The group has been learning from experts about gardening, ecotherapy and how plants adapt to stress. In addition they have been printing artworks inspired by the plants and led by artist Bess Frimodig. The wellbeing fanzine entitled ‘Root Shock’ is a way of communicating what has been learnt and how as humans we can learn from the ways in which plants adapt to stress.
